Stopped in here on a recommendation from a friend; it's a bit of the beaten path (i.e., downtown strip), but absolutely worth the trip.
The chef is incredibly friendly and open to customization in your dish. Their overall dinner special ("Queen" or "King") is definitely the way to go - you get a full dinner and can make a few tweaks if say, eel, isn't to your liking (it isn't to mine!). I loved every bite of sushi and really enjoyed coming in here. Delivery isn't available, but they do takeout as well as eat-in. -

Food wasn't bad, price was decent. We'd give it a second chance, but if it doesn't get better, that'd be it. The service was very friendly but suuuuuper slow. Like sushi has never taken that long and we did not order anything complicated. Also my rainbow roll came with mango sauce on it, and had I known, I would not have ordered it.
When the food finally came it was fine but not amazing and a bit sloppily made. Perhaps they weren't expecting that many people, but it was only four tables of 2-3 people each. -

I'm from Toronto, where sushi is quite mediocre. I visited Kingston for a weekend and decided to select the place with the best reviews.
Sapporo is awful. Not just a little bit bad but truly horrendous. I ordered the sashimi salad, sashimi lunch and some maki rolls. The fish was inedible. I can stomach some pretty rubbery things but I spat out their sashimi. The fish is about as fresh as a tire. Steel belted.
I ordered from the a la carte menu yet the tuna roll was made with 95% rice and 5% yucky tuna. It was pathetic when considering how bland the rice was. Green salad was ok. Spicy Jamaican roll was to die for, not in the good way.
Absolutely awful if you have any standards for fish. I am seriously worried for my safety and left many things uneaten.
Staff was lovely and attentive. They should not be serving such horrible and rubbery seafood - this is a serious safety issue. Avoid Sapporo if you want to enjoy your meal. -

Amazing food, we got the Queen meal it was $20 a person and included 3 delicious rolls and 6 pieces of nigiri and soup, salad, and a choice of either two spring rolls or two dumplings. They gave a significant amount of ginger and wasabi. This was a lot of food for 1 person every queen meal ordered doubles that amount of food, good service, great food, good prices, good portions, vegetarian options, small and can get a little busy but well worth the wait, definitely recommend

Excellent sushi! Great price and wonderful service. The sushi was very fresh and you can tell they care! I would definitely go back, only downside... the all you can eat is a bit confusing and they could get rid of it all together!
